Blossoms of Hope's Founders' Grove treats travelers along Route 108 to a profuse pink display each spring.

Our Founders

"The tree was a perfect memorial for my husband Howie. He was a girlie man and proud of it. He loved flowers and children and people." – Rae Millman, Founder and first tree sponsor

In 2004, a handfull individuals stepped forward to make the dream of BLOSSOMS OF HOPE a reality. Without their initial support this popular community initiative would not have been possible. The group included public officials, civic-minded community businesses, and average individuals who were inspired by the project and what is meant to them personally.

The FOUNDERS GROVE is their legacy. It is located adjacent to Route 108 in Centennial Park and in it grows the 20 original and most mature of all of Howard County’s Blossoms of Hope trees. This special grove will always serve as a reminder of what a few individuals who believe can accomplish.
