The Long Reach High School Boosters Club is having their annual fundraiser, “The Taste of Long Reach”, on Friday, March 6th from 7:00pm-11:00pm at The Gathering Place in Clarksville, MD. Scope Out The Night Sky at Robinson Nature Center
The Maryland Science Center and Robinson jointly present this exciting family-focused astronomy event. Enjoy a planetarium presentation, build your very own GalileoScope (a functional telescope for night sky viewing; $50 value), hold a meteorite and view the stars through telescopes (weather-permitting). $24 per family (up to five members). Each family receives a telescope, a tripod and a star map. This program is supported through a grant from the Howard County Arts Council. Click here to see pictures from the last event. Day Tripping: 50 Natural Places & Gardens with Linda Decker & Sherry Conklin
