Welcome to the EnduraFit Ironman 70.3 EagleMan Triathlon, one of the most popular Ironman 70.3 triathlons in the country. Once again, this “staple” race is a qualifier for both the 2013 Ironman World Championship in Kona (30 slots) and the 2013 Ironman Championship 70.3 in Lake Las Vegas (30 slots). This year’s race promises to be another great, world-class event, packed full of a stellar field of Pros from around the world and loads of excitement.

Cataracts: What You Should Know

Learn about cataracts, how they develop, who is at risk, and the signs and symptoms. The management and treatment options for cataracts, including intraocular lenses and lens implant options, also will be discussed by ophthalmologist Melanie Sobel.

Adult/Child/Infant CPR & AED

Learn the skills needed to clear an airway obstruction, perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). Earn a two-year American Heart Association completion card. Not a health care provider course.

Living With Diabetes

Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine will offer Living with Diabetes classes for people with diabetes. The classes will cover how to change habits, solutions for staying healthy and diabetes management plans for different lifestyles. An endocrinologist, diabetes nurse educator, dietician, psychologist, podiatrist and exercise specialist will teach the classes.
