Open House – Day In The Life Of A Farmer

This is one of our most popular fall educational programs that we offer. Included is a farm class on beekeeping and farm crops! Everyone gets to feed our friendly animals, go through the mini corn maze, take a hayride that goes through the Cattail Creek, and harvest your own pumpkin, and an ear of popcorn to take home with you!  The cost is $7.50/child. (Adults are free.) Registration is required on or before Oct. 3rd.

Sheep to Shawl, Colonial Style

Join us as we go back to Mr. Banneker’s time to explore colonial clothing and how it was made. A story, game, song and hands-on work with wool, carding, spinning and weaving will enchant parents and children alike. A small loom and other take-home goodies provided. Wear your own colonial dress-ups or borrow ours. Children 7 – 12 with an adult

Blessing of Animals

We invite all to bring their pets (on leashes please) to the Shrine of St. Anthony on Sunday October 5th at 2:00pm. for the Blessing of Animals on the piazza in front of the Shrine building. All are welcome.
