Art Exhibits:
Season to Season Painting at the Artist Gallery
Season to Season Painting showcasing recent work created by local artist Jung-Jy Chen. Showcasing the seasonal variations in the beauty of flowers, birds and landscapes using Chinese water colors. The show will run from June 27 through July 30, with an opening reception on Sunday July at the Artist Gallery.
Uncontained Exhibit at the Howard County Center for the Arts
Uncontained features work by lisa Moren and Lo Palmer.Moren displays marbleized papers created from pigment collect during BP's deep water Horizon oil spill, while Palmer displays sculptural and installation work made with a variety of everyday materials transformed into intricate surfaces, inspired by aerial images of recent uncontrolled oil spills.
