October 1-13 The Rouse Company/Howard Hughes Corporation Art Collection at the Howard County Arts Council
An exhibit celebrating the pivotal role the arts have had in advancing Columbia’s ideals and inspiring our community. Select artwork from The Rouse Company /Howard Hughes Corporation art collection – originally on view at the Rouse headquarters building but largely tucked away in storage since the company’s relocation in 2013 – is once again displayed in a gallery setting for all to enjoy.
October 1-29 Nature Made: Photography and Woodwork at the Artists' Gallery
This show pays tribute to the beauty of animals and natural wood. Artists' Gallery in Ellicott City will host an opening reception from for the October show, "Nature Made - photography and woodwork" with the photography of Joan Forrester and woodwork of Ron Brown, Jordon Kitt and Dave McCann. on Sunday October 1 from 3-5 p.m.
