March 29 - Wine Class : Cheese and Wine Pairing
Explore the essential flavor profiles for cheese and wine as well as the 9 basic rules everyone should know for successful wine pairings.

March 30 - Cocktail Class : Tiki Cocktails @ The Wine Bin
Each class features at least 3 craft cocktails built around a unique spirit or liquor. Learn tips and techniques along with a little history: this is a great way to start building a craft spirit bar! Each class includes a $10 credit towards a purchase after the class.

March 31 - Maryland Day History Walk and Period Dinner @ Elkridge Furnace Inn and Garden House
Join Executive Chef Dan Wecker on an hour long history walk of the 13 acre complex and learn local history from many periods. Then enjoy a buffet dinner at our Garden House for a relaxing Sunday and celebration of Maryland History.

Teaching and Making with Big Ideas in Mind @ Howard County Arts Council
An exhibit featuring work by Howard County Public School System art faculty. During the summer, K-12 art teachers expanded their own artistic practice, and broadened their understanding of contemporary artists and teaching for big ideas, through in-depth research of contemporary artistic sources, and an exploration of new media and processes.

Visionary Woman @ Columbia Art Center
An invitational art exhibit and series of events celebrating the talents and art of women from Howard County and Maryland during National Women’s History Month.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame @ Toby’s Dinner Theatre
From the Academy Award-winning team of Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast) and Stephen Schwartz comes a stunning retelling of Victor Hugo’s epic story of love, acceptance and what it means to be a hero.

March 31 - The Art of Stewardship: Opening Reception @ Howard County Conservancy
Browse the nature-inspired artwork created and donated by professional artists, local celebrities, community members, and exceptional art students. Enjoy live music, hors d’oeuvres and award presentations by jurors. There will also be a cash bar and raffles to win a piece on exhibit!

March 31 - Brenda Kidra’s Natureworks Conveys Life @ HorseSpirit Arts Gallery
Brenda Kidera’s classical realist paintings explore her passion for birds, animals, plants, trees, and waterways.  Rural areas of Maryland and various travels across the country were the inspiration for the collection. The pieces will continue to be displayed at HorseSpirit Arts Gallery from March 31st through April 21st.
