A Discovery of How Deep Prayer Transforms Ourselves, Our Families, Our Communities and Our World

Now more than ever our world needs people of deep prayer. This weekend is an invitation to all prayer warriors. It is an invitation to journey within where we can listen as a community to the hidden Spirit within us and bring healing to our broken world as we journey outward. This weekend is also about discovering and experiencing through prayer the connections that forge unity and not the differences that fragment and divide. According to the Episcopal priest, Tilden Edwards, it is in this deep place of prayer where transformation of consciousness occurs – we move out of our own egos, fears, divisions and into the wholeness that God hopes for our world.  We will use scripture from 1 Corinthians 12:7 which says, “now for each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for ‘the common good.” And 1 Corinthians 12:24-26 which says, “But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.”

Check-in begins at 3pm, dinner follows at 6pm and the retreat will begin at 7pm.
