Chinese medicine teaches us how to live in harmony
with the seasons. If we live and eat with the seasonal
changes, we can create more balance between our bodies
and our external environment. When each aspect of
our life is in harmony, we can live in a world of greater
possibilities and accomplishment. Natalie Grigorian
Sigmund, a licensed acupuncturist and resident at the
Kaufman Cancer Center, will provide an overview
of Chinese medicine and how it is used to treat and
prevent many health conditions. Natalie will also discuss
how minor adjustments to a modern lifestyle can help
us better live in accordance with the fall and winter
seasons. Explore how acupuncture, Chinese herbs, foods
and simple lifestyles changes can better prepare us for
the cold months ahead. Participants will leave feeling
grounded and connected to the seasons of nature.
The workshop will include time for questions from the
audience and a powerful meditation exercise rooted in
Chinese medicine.
