Jesus: A Pilgrimage

The Lenten Season is a rich time to return to the roots of our faith, back to the foundational beliefs and truths that shape and renew it with the nourishment it needs.  As Christians, we have to look no further than Jesus, the center of this life-giving faith, to recognize the primacy that he has in this process.  Cradled in our relationship with him is the perpetual desire to know him more fully and to deepen our unique connection with him.  With this understanding, you are invited to join us for a delicious lunch and dialogue about Jesus: A Pilgrimage, the recent work of Fr. James Martin, SJ. In this moving text, he vividly explores studies of the historical Jesus and the Christ of faith with the creativity and insight he is known to offer readers.

Opportunities for participation in some creative and spiritual-oriented exercises around the text will be integrated into our dialogue. Prior reading of the text is not mandatory, but may prove beneficial. Please bring a journal for use throughout the program. Guided by Gordon Creamer.
