Spend the afternoon discovering Maryland’s milling heritage while taking the last chill out of winter thanks to two products made from grain! Bring your thermal mug and enjoy a hot toddy featuring whiskey from local distillery, Lost Ark. We pair this with Great Harvest Bread Company baked goods made from freshly-ground grains. Robinson Nature Center Naturalists lead you on a trail walk through what was once the historic mill town of Simpsonville down to the ruins of the town’s mill and along the mill race. Discover the realities of mill life for its inhabitants and then return to the nature center to discover how milling has evolved through the centuries into a much more sustainable operation today. Please register by March 6. Limited tickets available after this date.

Ages 21+ / $35 per person.
