The FantasyWood Festival hosted by ManneqArt and Circus Siren Podis a magical 3 day experience being held in Columbia, Maryland over Memorial Day Weekend 2019. Come join us for a walk in the woods with surprises around each corner. Meet mermaids, fairies, watch live knights duel and even see a live unicorn!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Walking, biking, ride share, or driving! You will choose your transportation option when you buy your tickets (but if you need to change your transit option just email email@example.com). For drivers, parking will be assigned a few days before the event via Eventbrite.
What can I bring into the event?
Lawn chairs without canopies or covers, blankets, food and non-alcoholic beverages (no glass, no alcohol). Hula hoops, poi, and other flow arts are welcome.
Can I bring flow arts? Hula hoops? Poi?
Can I wear a costume?
Yes, costumes are highly encouraged.
Can I bring weapons or other props?
You may bring foam or carboard props (including prop model swords or similar). No heavy material (wood, metal, or similar) models or weapons are allowed. No guns, model or otherwise.
Can I smoke on site?
Per Howard County law, no smoking is allowed in the Park.
Can I bring my fire sticks?
Sorry, nothing on fire or lightable is allowed on site.
Can I bring a stroller?
Yes. Please be aware that some areas of the Park will be on unpaved areas and over grass, forest, and turf.
Can I bring balls / frisbees / etc.?
Sorry, not during the festival or during performances. You are welcome to do so other times.
What can't I bring into the event?
Alcoholic beverages (we have some for sale), glass, balls or frisbees, pets, or anything lightable.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, but they are more expensive.
Are there chairs?
You can bring one or rent one onsite.
Will there be food for sale?
Yes food will be available for sale on site. You can also bring a picnic basket or cooler (no glass or alcohol).
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please bring an electronic ticket, printed ticket, or the name of the person who placed the order to check in.
Can I bring a pet?
Sorry, no pets at performances, though pets are welcome when the Park is open and there is no show. Pets (leashed with their people) may be outside the fence line in the rest of the Park during a show. Service animals always welcome.
Is this event family friendly?
YES! This event is appropriate for all ages.
I don't have kids - should I come anyway?
Yes, this is a magical festival with something for everyone.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is an all ages event. If you wish to purchase or consume alcohol, you will to be over 21 with valid ID.
