At Alumia, I craft jewelry that goes beyond aesthetics – it’s about connection, meaning, and bringing positive energy into people’s lives. My journey as a jewelry artist began over a decade ago, fueled by a passion for art and spirituality. A few years ago, I founded Alumia with the vision of merging art and spirit, where each piece is hand-carved with intention, inspired by sacred geometry, symbols, and the healing properties of materials like crystals. For me, jewelry isn’t just an accessory; it’s a tool for self-discovery and empowerment, and I love hearing how my customers feel more connected and uplifted when they wear my pieces. The Alumia mission statement is to illuminate hidden knowledge and bring healing through art, and this vision drives everything I do at Alumia. At the most basic level, this endeavor involves creating jewelry with unique symbolic meanings, accompanied by cards that explain each piece’s essence. In December 2024, we will open a local studio storefront in the community of Savage Mill, where people can experience Alumia Design in person. At my shop, I will offer a wide variety of workshops, such as bead and findings crafting for the whole family, copper wire tree making, “carve your own pendant” workshops, and private advanced goldsmithing classes. I provide high-end services, including custom jewelry design, jewelry repair, and a unique “gold plating on the spot” service, where we can gold plate any silver or brass jewelry handed to us within just 20 minutes. Our vision also includes helping local artists present their high-end, unique spiritual or contemporary art at our shop. Alumia Design Studio is a place of creation and self-discovery. Come visit!
