On Saturday, November 27th at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM Visit Howard County in partnership with Howard County Executive Calvin Ball, Howard County Economic Development Authority, Howard County Chamber of Commerce, Ellicott City Partnership, and Savage Mill will kick-off Small
Business Saturday in Ellicott City’s historic district and at Savage Mill in support of local shops that make Howard County unique place to live, work, play, and visit.
Historic Ellicott City
The first kick-off event hosted by Visit Howard County takes place Saturday, November 27th at 10:00 AM, at the Howard County Welcome Center in Historic Ellicott City. Speakers are to include Howard County Executive Calvin Ball, State Delegate Courtney Watson, Howard County Council Chair Liz Walsh, and representatives from the Ellicott City Business Association along with business owners who will share their stories and
gratitude for support from the community. Immediately following the program, the Ellicott City Partnership will begin distribution of OEC Bucks to pre-registered Bucks recipients at the Howard County Welcome Center. OEC Bucks registration will reopen a few days prior to Small Business Saturday. Please note, quantities are limited.

The second kick-off event of the day hosted by Savage Mill takes place at Savage Mill at 12:00 PM. Speakers are to include Howard County Executive Calvin Ball, Jay Winer of Savage Mill, and other local officials. The program will officially open the all-new Vendor Village and Santa Heim, Merrieland exhibit.
