Howard County Tourism & Promotion is happy to welcome the warmer months with the following opportunities to enjoy the arts al fresco! The term ‘al fresco’ is defined as outdoors, in the open air… exactly where you’ll want to be this summer! Enjoy outdoor sculpture, attend art festivals and relax under the stars at local concerts. Sip, Shiver & Stroll
A Maryland Wine Week event. On Wednesday, June 19, 2013, 5-8PM, brave guests will embark on a prescribed route taking them into some of historic Ellicott City’s most haunted pubs, taverns and bistros where they will meet costumed interpreters who will share chilling stories from the award winning Spirits of Ellicott City tour. Each stop includes spirited Maryland Wine tastings and locally inspired appetizers.

Come enjoy our renovated space in the Ellicott City Historic District. Take a break in the lounge area, research Howard County attractions, learn about our history from informational panels, and discover where to eat, stay, shop, and play through our informational brochures.
