Preakness Festivities 2026

The 151st Preakness Stakes is back in Maryland—and Howard County is ready to celebrate! The Preakness is the pivotal jewel in horse racing’s ultimate series, the Triple Crown. This once-in-a-lifetime event will be held at Laurel Park on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The Black-Eyed Susan Stakes will take place the day before on Friday, May 15, 2026.
