The Howard County Conservancy will be hosting a Mother’s Day Special - Tea, Scones, and Garden Walk on May 11th. Stroll through the gardens, learn about design and planting from members of the Howard County Garden Club, and enjoy bottomless cups of tea and freshly baked Scottish scones.
Is your mom a thrill seeker? Terrapin Adventures Mother’s Day Special will be taking place May 12th. With zip lines, a giant swing, rock walls, and rope courses, and more, this will be a unique and exciting Mother’s Day she will never forget. Available packages can be viewed here.
Sharp’s at Waterford Farm has an Alternative Mother’s Day event on May 12th from 3 PM to 5 PM. Bring a favorite container or buy one of theirs and make an herb or flower container. They’ll give a cocoa bark mulch and a Happy Mother’s Day tag. There will be live animal feeding and a hayride through the farm and across the Cattail Creek. This is a free event for mothers attending with children. Registration is required on or before May 11th.
