Aladdin on Ice! is the figure skating portrayal of the Disney movie and the Broadway show! Skaters range from beginner to advanced and from ages 4 to 60.

April 13 - Hike to Patapsco River @ The Howard County Conservancy
Join Conservancy naturalists Woody Merkle and John Cookson on a 2-hour round trip hike across meadows, tree lines and paths through the woods. Easy to moderate walking with some hilly and rocky areas of the trail.

To celebrate everything equine in Maryland, we will have fun making stick horses on Saturday and Sunday. We will provide all the materials, you just bring the creativity. Each child will make a stick horse to take home.

April 13 - Banneker Benefit Bash @ Museum of Howard County History and Library
Featuring performers who have played at the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum (BBHPM) Colonial Market Fair, this concert combines great talent in traditional and African-American roots music. Hear tunes that Banneker may have played on fiddle and flute as he took a break from writing his Almanacs in the 1790s

April 14 - 5th Annual Brewfest for MS @ Hysteria Brewing Company
Hysteria Brewing Company, in support of the National MS Society, Greater DC-Maryland Chapter present the  5th Annual Brewfest for MS. There will be beer, food, raffles and games!

April 14th - A Spring Tea : The Art of Tisane @ Elkridge Furnace Inn
Let your taste buds blossom with this spring themed four course deluxe afternoon tea where you will be exploring the "art of tisane" by learning about various ingredients along with their health benefits. Dance Party features a dream team of some of the DMV’s most accomplished bandleaders, vocalists & musicians who grew up on this music. An all-star 11 piece band with horn section features 6 different lead singers to capture all of the excitement & energy of the diverse sounds that started in England like wildfires and quickly spread around the world.

April 14 - Palm Sunday Concert @ Retreat and Conference Center at Bon Secours
On Palm Sunday the Christian Choir of Howard County will perform in our Chapel at 4pm. This will be the 9th year the choir has performed.

Bats in Belfries refers to an old colloquialism which presents bats as an allegory for mental illness. It relates architecture or structures to that of the mind’s own framework.

Alfonso Fernandez Vazquez : Entranced  @ Richard B. Talkin Family Art Gallery
The Horowitz Center Galleries presents the work of Alfonso Fernandez Vazquez in the Richard B. Talkin Family Art Gallery from April 1 -  May 6."Entranced" refers to the way viewers are lured into the works to discover nuances in color, texture, and iconography that forms a negotiation between subtle imagery referencing immigration, politics, and cultural identity.

Color & Places @ The Artists’ Gallery
Julie Gross presents a series of dynamic urban landscapes that explore the neon color palette associated with Miami, Peru and the Caribbean. She likes to use the magic of color and simply shapes while examining the effects of black light and neon oil color.

Brenda Kidera’s Natureworks Conveys Life @ Horsespirit Arts Gallery
Brenda Kidera’s classical realist paintings explore her passion for birds, animals, plants, trees, and waterways.  Rural areas of Maryland and various travels across the country were the inspiration for the collection. The pieces will continue to be displayed at HorseSpirit Arts Gallery from March 31st through April 21st.  

Defining Ourselves: I Am More than What You See (Youth Art Month exhibit) @ Howard County Arts Council
Presented through an ongoing partnership between Howard County Public School System and the Arts Council, this year’s Youth Art Month exhibit features hundreds of works by HCPSS students in grades K-12, selected from public school art classes throughout the county.
