Cherry Blossoms in Ellicott City

Cherry Blossoms in Ellicott City

The warmer weather of March brings forth budding blossoms of all kinds. From daffodils and sweet peas to the beautiful soft pink petals of the romantic Cherry Tree groves. Thanks to a beautification project “Blossoms of Hope”, over 3000 cherry blossom trees have been planted throughout Howard County. These beautiful blooms attract a multitude of visitors to Columbia and Ellicott City with their timeless elegance and effortless charm.

This year while enjoying the blooms, you can explore The Blossoms 2025 Countywide Art Show featuring over 500 pieces of art inspired by the delicate pink and white blooms of Cherry Blossoms. Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Blossoms of Hope by visiting some of the 14 art exhibits throughout the county, or by attending the Art Show Reception on March 13th, 2025.
