Join us on an adventure where nature’s “tricks” are revealed at delightful stations among the trees. Make a potion with a witch and delight in Halloween-inspired puppet shows. Make crafts and take part in tot-friendly challenges.
Halloween Spooktacular - Oct 29 @ Color Burst Park
Wear your costumes and join us for tricks, treats, and more at our Spooktacular at Colorburst Park For one evening, The Merriweather District will be transformed into a festive Halloween space for the whole family to enjoy!
Trunk or Treat - Oct 30 @ Gary J. Arthur Community Center
Get in gear for a “wheely fun” day to celebrate Halloween! Come dressed in your favorite costume to trick-or-treat at all of the trucks, tractors, emergency vehicles and more, while meeting some of your hometown heroes.
Trunk of Treat - Oct 30 @ Columbia Sports Park
Not your average Trunk or Treat! After candy and treats, stick around and enjoy a round of mini golf with the family and games including:
- Snowball fight
- Axe (plastic!) throwing
- Bean Bag Toss

Halloween Hullaballoo - Oct 30 @ Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods
Join Wicked Sycamore, Dirty Grass Players, The Wharf Rats, Live!, and The Ron Holloway Band for a Halloween party geared towards grownups! Costumes are highly encouraged.
Halloween Hullabaloo is produced by the Inner Arbor Trust in partnership with New Deal Cafe.
Hocus Pocus Day - Oct 30 @ Decadent Dessert Bar
2nd Annual Hocus Pocus Day! Join us for Halloween Fun! The shop will be decorated and we'll have Halloween themed treats all day! Come in costume and earn a Decadent Dollar!
Main Street Trick or Treat - Oct 31 @ Historic Ellicott City
Trick-or-Treat on Main Street with us! Main Street businesses will be handing out candy to all of those celebrating.
Scary Clown Chase - Oct 31 @ Autobahn Indoor Speedway
Scary Clown Chase is back! On October 31st happening every hour all day, beat the scary clown in a race to win a prize! That's not all - get a free limited Nightmare on Elm Street kart guy sticker when you purchase a race package!
Monster Mini Golf

Ghost Tours
MT. MISERY GHOST WALK
The hills north of town harbor some very eerie legends of spirits and unexplained happenings from decades ago and even days ago!
Tour meets at Museum of Howard County History 8328 Court Ave. Ellicott City, Md. Recommended for guests age 16 and up.
Tours will be limited to 10 people. Those attending will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing. Temperatures will be scanned at the start of the tours to ensure everyone’s safety. Tickets will be refunded for any issues arising.

HAUNTED MAIN STREET
Old Ellicott City today is a resilient town almost 250 years old with great shops and a vibrant night life…so is it any wonder that the many ghosts who still call this town home remain to see if they can still raise the hairs on the back of your neck?

GHOST TOURS AT HISTORIC SAVAGE MILL
An hour and a half ghost tour led by Savage Mill’s Historian exploring the history and ghostly tales of Savage Mill
Are you a paranormal thrill-seeker? Do you binge Ghost Hunters until 3 am? Discover the Mill’s haunted history where restless spirits continue to roam these halls to this very day. Learn about the working conditions during 19th century Savage Mill and how they tie to the ghostly encounters today and the cheeky little girl who loves tripping the living.
